Slate Rock Safety, LLC, a fast-growing online retailer and wholesaler of safety products based in Medina, OH, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the FRSafety Division in the Rocky Mountains area to join our Sales Department.
General Description
RSM will have autonomous responsibility for the sale of flame resistant protective clothing (FRC) and related programs to new and existing accounts resulting in significant sales increase within a specific regional geography.
Candidate must have the talent, willingness and understanding that it takes to drive the success of a young but rapidly growing company in an exciting market.
Specific Accountabilities:

Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals as assigned to the territory.

Identify and qualify prospects and secure them as new customers.

Communicate with Safety, Operations and Purchasing professionals that specify and purchase FRC for employees working in hazardous environments in the Utility and Petrochemical industries.

Develop customer-specific solutions after thorough analysis of needs and requirements.

Present clothing products and solutions in a professional manner utilizing all potential presentation medium.

Drive prospects and customers to our web-based catalog / ordering vehicle.

Establish and maintain lasting professional relationships with new and existing clients.

Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Support to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.

Communicate activities and maintain lead and customer files as required.

Participate in trade shows and industry related events as necessary.

Work from home-based office.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience: Minimum five years of outside sales experience. Experience working within HSE, Petrochem or Utility industry preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree minimum.
Reports To: National Sales Manager.
Travel: 75% Field / 25% office. Expect overnight travel and occasional weekend work related to industry events.
Residence Location: Preferably Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, Portland, OR or city with nearby international airport.
